If the only reason not to believe in God or Islam is because of violence, then honestly, we humans are the most unwelcomed on this planet. Atheism is the weakest mindset ever. No excuses. It is not that you see through it, it is that you do not want to commit to something bigger than yourself.

So what is the excuse this time? “I will not follow a religion with a prophet who married a 9 year old,” or “religion calls for Jihad”? You forget that religion is way deeper than the surface stuff people love to cherry pick.

And this mindset that Muslims are fighting other religions? Bro, are we still stuck in 2001? That is just lazy. No Muslim country today is waging war because of Islam. Politics, resources, power, yes. Religion itself, no. Iran for example is not truly following Prophet Muhammad’s teachings at all.

About the Prophet marrying Aisha at 9 it is ignorant to judge that through modern eyes. In 6th century Arabia, cultural norms were different. A young girl seen as vulnerable could be killed off for being a burden. Islam stopped that. Being married to al Amin, the man everyone trusted and the man known for his honesty, was seen as honor and protection, not abuse.

Now, what religion really is it is connection, guidance, rules for life. It is not about arguing who is right and who is wrong. I doubted once too. But just like media lies about people, media lies about Islam when it wants to. Religion is comfort. It is knowing there is a guide above you. An atheist puts themselves in that role, but humans are not good guides by default.

Yes, religious people sin. But notice the difference, they feel guilt. That guilt is proof of accountability. Safer than someone who says “I just rely on my morals” while nothing actually stops them from crossing lines. Morals melt fast when the whole society normalizes the wrong thing.

Religion is guidance from God, it does not bend to fit people’s trends. No zina means no zina, having sex with a stranger will never make it less than zina.
