• Astro on Cloudflare Workers. Every page is plain HTML and CSS; no JavaScript is sent to readers.
• Verdana, small text, gray buttons, laid out after paulgraham.com.
• Posts are markdown files, edited directly or through Sveltia CMS. The source is on GitHub.

the sidebar

• The Spotify block and the status under it are a small page the sidebar reloads every 15 seconds. The Worker asks Spotify for what is playing; nothing runs in your browser.
• The status comes from a reporter on my Mac. It reads the lid, whether I am at the keyboard, and my Claude Code sessions, and sends only what changed. Before the Mac sleeps it says so.
• Every report is signed with my OpenPGP key. The Worker holds only the public key and drops anything it cannot verify, and anyone can check the last report with curl -sL v0id.me/status.asc | gpg -d.
• The git row shows my newest commit in a public repo. Private repos are filtered out before any commit is looked at.
• The tab icon fades to gray when I am away and pale when the laptop sleeps.

from a terminal

• curl -L v0id.me answers in plain text, my key is found with gpg --locate-keys hey@v0id.me, and the guestbook can be signed with curl. The full list is under misc.
• Guestbook entries wait for me to approve them with a command signed by the same key.
